What don’t kill ya….. Make ya more strong
Yes it is horrible grammer and really a statement that can be wrong in many ways. To me however it is true in almost every light.
And as Thanksgiving approaches I believe that it is kind of a theme for the things I am thankful for in my life. I am thankful for my second-chance at life. I am thankful for caring families, patient friends and the knowledge I have gained about true importance and life in general. I wont sugar coat it, or request a pity party, I have had a rough last couple of years.
But here I am; alive, breathing, rather happy and I believe stronger having gone through the things I have. As one of my favorite fictional characters would say KA, plain and simple: KA. The world is indeed a crazy place but whats life without some heartache to show what joy is??
So this thanksgiving between mouthfulls of that glorious bird, I plan on giving the sky a wink and a nod. Showing my thanks for being alive to be with my family, and taking time to honor those that will no longer be with me at the harmonious table
Thankful,
Jacob Flint
